Lake fishing trips
I've had many
requests from guests for an opportunity to fish some
of the many lakes around the Stockholm area, so I
can now offer trips to various lakes which
can produce trout to 10Kg. The lakes are stocked
every 2 weeks but rainbow are breeding too, there
are also Pike, Perch, Zander & Whitefish.
If you are on
holiday in Stockholm & want a days fishing I can
pick you up & transport you to a lake that
(depending on temperature, insect life etc) is
fishing well. With this option you can bring the
whole family as the city is full of attractions &
excellent shopping, alternatively you can stay close
to the water within walking distance of the fish. There are 3
houses available for hire with showers etc
nearby, one has 25 beds, one with 8 beds & the last
one has 4 beds. As you can see, a club trip would
be no problem, in fact there are a further 3 lakes
that can be hired solely for your use which would be
ideal for a fishing club. All sleeping bags etc will
be supplied by us & if you request full catering
that can be arranged too.

Lake Örsjön
A
put & take lake in mid-east Uppland, located
approx. 50 km from Stockholm, 40 km from Norrtälje,
Sigtuna and Uppsala. Örsjön is a spring fed lake,
size: 23 ha. Thanks to the the flow of cold water
the lake stays cold in summer and together with a high
oxygen level the fish and insects prosper and create
a really nice fishing lake. The lake is stocked with
high quality stream born rainbow, brook trout and
brown trout, sized from 0,3-10 kg.
Stocked with new
fish every two weeks in the summer and once a month in
winter, the lake also has a population of
self-reproducing rainbow and some perch and pike.
The
fish are keen to rise so the lake offers nice dry
fly conditions. The number of fishermen are limited
to 40-50/day.

Lake SKYSJÖN
The accommodation is at the end of
the red arrow so these 2 lakes are within easy
walking distance.
